Found this site http://www.streammygame.com/smg/index.php who claims to be able to stram/run games off an older computer so you can play it on your PS3. EVE Online is one of the supported games. So maybe you can play on your PS3! Anyone tried it?...

haha this is quite funny.. A little google on "emulate shader model 3" and you get the information that there are software that can make the game work on an older card. Programs like "Software tweaks, such as SwiftShader, swShader and 3D-analyze"....
